Scuba Diving
Whether you’re an Introductory (beginner/unlicensed) or Certified Diver (licensed), Adventure Moreton Island has a Scuba diving experience to suit you! The Tangalooma Shipwrecks are Moreton Island’s premier dive location. With 15 purposely sunken shipwrecks, you are guaranteed a dive teeming with reef fish and corals formed on the wrecks since 1963. Keep your eye out for turtles, rays, nudibranchs and more! You can expect abundant tropical reef fish, wobbegong sharks and colourful corals.
Minimum age for the dive is 12 years old.

Minimum Age Requirements
By booking this tour, you confirm that all children in your party are above the minimum age of 12 years required when participating in this Scuba Diving activity.
Pre-existing medical conditions
Participation in some of our tours and activities is physically demanding and may pose a health or safety risk. For your safety, you must disclose if you are suffering from any injury or pre-existing medical condition (such as, but not limited to, epilepsy, asthma or cardiovascular conditions) which may interfere with your ability safely participate in our services. Some medical conditions require physicians’/doctors’ approval to be able to participate in our tours and activities. Note: If you do have asthma, you are required to bring your Ventolin with you to be able to participate in the tour. Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, participating in any Watersports activities or tours with Tangatours will require your physician’s/doctor’s approval in writing. Please bring a medical certificate with you on the day, or email through prior to arrival.
Indemnity and deposits
Please be aware that upon arriving at the resort, you must fill in an indemnity form and leave a $50 pre-authorisation deposit. This is done for your convenience to eliminate further paperwork and deposits during the day. Pre-authorisations are frozen in your bank account and will be released within five to ten business days after your trip to Moreton Island.
